Faustino Aranzabal. Trained in traditional, academic and historical dance by various teachers. He graduated in performing arts, specialising in scenography. He takes part in numerous art workshops at Arteleku Centre. In June, 1993 he was named artistic director of Kresala with the remit of creating new work and a wide choreographic repertoire with its own identity. In 2000 he set up the Han dantzarako ikergunea research centre. A master of dance, he teaches specialist courses in the Basque Country and abroad. He directs diverse projects and workshops designed to increase awareness of dance in education. He has published several books.
